|Measure Tool|: uses the current ruler values to measure square area. While dragging mouse, use the |Shift| Key to create a rectangle with auto-dimension text.

|Electrical|: create a line representing electrical wiring.
|Property Lines|: create a line representing property lines or fences.
|Window Lines|: create a line representing a window.
|Wall Lines|: create a line representing a wall.
|Join Polygon Tool|: lets you join starting or ending vertex of one polygon to another polygon's starting or ending vertex.
|Split Polygon Tool|: allows polygons to be split. Closed polygons become open. Open polygons are split into two separate polygons.
|Normal Magnification Tool|: displays the current magnification. If >100%, click to zoom out to 100%. If <100%, click the icon and click in document at location to zoom in.
|View Previous Tool|: click to go to the previous named view. See |Set Views…| and |View| commands in the |Layout| menu.
|Layer Up Tool|: click to go to the previous named layer. See |Set Layers…| and |Layer| commands in the |Layout| menu.
|Zoom Out Tool|: Click once for each zoom out; the document window is immediately updated. Use the Shift key to zoom out twice.
|Delete Vertex Tool|: allows deletion of individual polygon vertices.
|Insert Vertex Tool|: allows inserting polygon vertices between other polygon vertices.
|Move Vertex Tool|: allows you to grab and move vertices of |polygons| and the end point vertices of |lines|, |arcs| and |wedges|.
|Distort Tool|: allows pinching or spreading two corners of a polygon or a group consisting only of polygons.
|Perspective Tool|: allows perspective transforms on a polygon or a group consisting only of polygons. You can select a vanishing point.
|Shear Tool|: allows slanting |polygon| or a group consisting only of polygons.
|Replace Tool|: allows replacing all selected objects with the object you click from any document.
|Grab Attributes Tool|: allows grabbing text and graphic attributes, and simultaneously changes selected objects. Works across document windows.
|Copy Tool|: use to copy and drag an object to a new location. Works across document windows.
|Free Rotation Tool|: rotate objectsthem by 1° increments. Move the Pointer over one of the selection handles to start rotation.
|Hand Tool|: click, and then drag in the document window to pan to another scroll position; Provides same functionality as scroll bars or command apostrophe, "`".
|View Next Tool|: click to go to next named view. See |Set Views…| and |View| commands in the |Layout| menu.
|Layer Down Tool|: click to go to the next named layer. See |Set Layers…| and |Layer| commands in the |Layout| menu.
|Zoom In Tool|: click on this icon the number of magnifications you desire. Next, move the pointer into the document area.
|Polygon Tool|: draws polygons by adding a vertex for each click in the document window.
|Freehand Polygon Tool|: draws 'freehand' polygons by dragging in the document window, creating numerous points.
|Arc/Wedge Tool:| draws quarter-arcs.
|Oval Tool|: draws ovals.
|Rounded Rectangle Tool|: draws rectangles with rounded corners. See |Line| palette in |Tool| menu or |Corners…| in |Graphic| menu.
|Rectangle Tool|: draws rectangles.
|Regular Polygon Tool|: draws regular polygons. See |Regular Polygon| command in |Graphic| menu.
|Diagonal Lines Tool|: used to create new lines in any direction.
|Perpendicular Lines Tool|: used to create new horizontal or vertical lines.
|Text Tool|: used to create new text objects, or to edit previously created text. Also, double-click to change the text values.
|Pointer Tool|: the default tool for selecting, moving, and stretching. If already selected, a click turns off all selections.
